Day 5 in Africa and all things are going well. I'm currently using the girls' internet as the internet in the guys room is absolutely woeful, still, apart from interweb problems the trip so far has been truly amazing!
After getting in mid afternoon on Tuesday we came straight to Safari Park. I'm not entirely sure you would call Safari Park an African experience... but the drive here definitely was!! I am still amazed that 2 lane roads can fit quite a lot more than 2 vehicles on them hehe. Nothing too interesting was happening for the rest of the night apart from a lot of ooo'ing and aaaa'ing at the room Daniel, Daz and I had. It had to be the size of a largeish apartment, so between 3 people it was a lot of fun. We even had an industrial sized kitchen, which was really useful for the three of us...
Hmmmm, what else? A lot's been happening so I think I'll leave more news until the next blog, which for all of you, will be tomorrow. The next few will be a lot more interesting though, between childrens home stuff, sleeping in a $10 per night room in a hotel in Kiambu, visiting downtown Nairobi and Tammy getting hassled to buy some stone necklace as well as the one everyone's waiting for... the chickens!
